How Sun Services Started
The story of Sun Services began in 1995, when Brian first started thinking about building an HVAC company of his own. At the time, he was dating Jamie, who was studying accounting. Together, they began imagining what it would look like to build a business based on quality workmanship, dependable service, and treating people the right way.
Brian and Jamie married in 1996, and two years later, in 1998, Sun Services Heating & Air Conditioning officially began.
Like many family businesses, Sun Services started small. Brian took on replacement projects and new construction work while gradually building a customer base through quality service and word of mouth. There wasn't a large team or established name behind them—just a commitment to doing good work and building relationships with the people they served.
Over the years, Sun Services continued to grow, but Brian and Jamie never wanted growth to come at the expense of the values the company was built on. Today, Sun Services remains a locally owned and operated family business, serving homeowners throughout Southwest Michigan and the Michiana area.
More than 25 years after opening its doors, the goal remains much the same: take care of customers, take care of employees, and do work the company can be proud to stand behind.
